First Christian Church of Pomona is an open community of seekers, in covenant with God, Christ, and with one another
Scouting First Christian Church has sponsored a Boy Scout troop since 1927. Currently the church is sponsoring three levels of Scouting: Tiger Cub is a program for boys in the first grade and their adult partners. This program focuses the boy and adult to build a strong relationship with each other, the troop, and their family. Cub Scout are for ages 7 thru 11. The troop seeks to build relationships through fun activities, educational programs, and by starting camping activities geared for the appropriate ages with their adult partners. The building nature of Cub Scouts helps boys in the preparation of becoming Boy Scouts. Boy Scouts are for ages 12 thru 18. Boy Scout troop life build leadership through shared activities, involvement in the life of the larger community and develop habits for good citizenship and sportsmanship.
